Sign up to learn about the workforce in a one-week summer program!
We all love summer vacation. It’s a break from school, warm weather and plenty of fun. But, would you like to also learn important knowledge about the workforce and help prepare yourself for the future? Sign up for the one-week summer program titled the “Workforce Readiness Training Programs” to learn all about how to get a job and make the most out of it! If you're looking for real-world, employability skills, then this program is for you! Open to Prince George’s County high school juniors and seniors and soon to be graduates, the program is sponsored by PEPCO Holdings, Inc. In the program, participants will learn about career clusters, job readiness, resumes, interviewing skills, social media and much more! Interested? Attend a meeting tomorrow night, March 8, at 7:30 p.m. at the Columbia Park Community Center. Registration for the program begins then as well! For more information contact Antoinette.battle@pgparks.com and get ready to prepare yourself for the workforce!
