It’s Almost Halloween for Xtreme Teens and Preteens!
The time has finally come! With jack-o-lanterns, costumes, witches, ghosts and haunted houses, October for many means Halloween! Check out some upcoming spooky (and not so spooky) events for Prince George’s Xtreme Teens and Pre-Teens. On Thursday, October 25, head to the Prince George’s Plaza Community Center from 6:30-8:00 for crafts and “pumpkin games.” The College Park Aviation museum holds their “Haunted Hangar” event on Saturday, October 27, starting at noon with plenty of family activities. Xtreme Teens can participate in the pumpkin carving competition at the Langley Park Community Center starting at 7 p.m. also on Saturday. Looking for something more scary? The annual Xtreme Teens Fright Fest, held starting at 8 p.m. in the dark woods of the Watkins Regional Park, will have you screaming Saturday night. With refreshments, a bonfire and a haunted trail, residents ages 12-17 can attend this horrifyingly good time for $5. For a complete list of upcoming Halloween events, get more information here: http://www.pgparks.com/halloween_and_fall_harvest_events.htm and get ready to get scared (or enjoy some not-so-scary fun with the whole family)!
