Spend the Summer Enjoying an Outdoor Concert, Performance or Movie
All throughout the county this summer, there are many ways to get outside and enjoy the weather. But why not also enjoy some great musical performances, plays or movies at the same time? Enjoy one of the many Summer 2013 performances, concerts and summer cinemas that M-NCPPC has to offer! There are free Sunday evening performances at the Bladensburg Waterfront Park starting June 16. Enjoy jazz, R&B and event traditional African or Latin music. On the Green at Watkins Regional Park, enjoy Thursday night concerts as well as theater performances such as Shakespeare's The Tempest on July 18. On Wednesday nights, the Riverdale House Museum is hosting jazz on the lawn as well. Prefer movies? Enjoy an evening at the College Park Aviation Museum that ends in a movie outside! See movies at Terrific Tuesdays at the Watkins Regional Park in July and on Fridays in August. There are even more options for outdoor entertainment this summer than these!
