The Awesome Cosca Skate Park Opens In Spite of Rain
Despite some rain in Cosca Regional Park in Clinton, Maryland, The unveiling for the the new Cosca Skate Park showed revealed the much-anticipated area for skaters as all it was anticipated to be and more! The park, located behind the playground off of Thrift Road, had many different terrains, rails and jumps for skaters of all skill levels as well as new landscaping and cool artwork in the middle. The ceremony, including a ribbon cutting, had some lawmakers in attendance including Maryland Senate President Thomas V. "Mike" Miller and Delegate Joe Vallario, as well as other M-NCPPC leaders! Though the rain cancelled a professional skating demonstration, some skaters still cautiously took to the park, doing slide moves and spins in on the slick surface. There were snacks of granola bars and gatorade for the hungry skaters as well a chance to win a new skate deck! The park is a beautiful place for the next Tony Hawks to practice their skills and shred! Check it out for yourself Xtreme Teens and happy skating!
