Get in the Spirit! Xtreme Teens Holiday Events

The time has finally arrived! The weather is colder, the days are shorter and houses everywhere are hanging wreaths and lights for the holidays. Check out all the fun, holiday-themed events in Prince George’s County this month. From the Winter Festival of Lights to opportunities to help those less fortunate, there’s something for everyone this holiday season. On Friday, December 7, Xtreme Teens and Pre-Teens can don their best holiday sweaters to compete to win the Christmas Sweater Contest at the Prince George’s Plaza Community Center. Ice skate at Herbert Wells Ice Rink on Friday, too; just remember to bring $3 and a pair of socks! Girls in the G.E.A.R. program will be making holiday ornaments and raffles will be drawn in a fun holiday event on Friday, December 15. The following night, come wrap your holiday gifts at Berwyn Heights Community Center and watch a Christmas movie with your friends! On Saturday, December 22, decorate cookies and make gingerbread houses at Hillcrest Heights Community Center. Attend these events and others to get in spirit for the holiday season! It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
