Teen Cotillion 2014 - Week 5

On February, 5, 2014, participants made awareness ribbons. They made pink for breast cancer awareness, red for HIV/AIDS awareness, blue for colon cancer awareness, and purple for Alzheimer disease awareness. Sister's Network of prince Georges county came and spoke to the group about breast cancer, how to detect it, and encouraged everyone to encourage their loved ones to get checked. The Alzheimer's Association came and alone about the ten warning signs of Alzheimer’s’. The participants were engaged participated to make the ribbons to donate.
