Check Out Fun Stuff To Do This Fall
It’s that time of year again, Teens! It’s time to look into fun activities, camps, classes and sports available just for you in the Fall! Starting today, you can check out all that M-NCPPC has to offer in the fall by looking at it’s SMARTlink code. Explore your options and register next week, August 8, for anything and everything that interests you! As always, the county’s nature centers are packed full of activities including planned hikes, campfire nights, “Creature Features” and river cleanup volunteer opportunities. Area museums offer tours focusing on the War of 1812, aviation history and awesome archeological dig sites. Your favorite sports and pool facilities will be continue to be open as well as arts and community centers. And there are always fun classes and activities to sign up for. Take Pilates and Yoga at the Hillcrest Heights Community Center or dance for fitness with Zumba at one of many community centers. Take a creative writing course at the Montpelier Arts Center or learn Modern Dance at the Arts/Harmony Hall regional center. Learn tennis, boxing, ice hockey, gymnastics and much more or hone your arts skills with drawing or painting. And there are so many signature events, it’s hard to pick! See all the fun for the fall in the 2013 Fall Guide or visit your local community center to learn about all there is to offer! http://issuu.com/pgparks/docs/guide_fall_web Photo: Cassi Hayden, Montpelier Arts Center
