Reception For Roslyn Cambridge Exhibition At Publick Playhouse

Artist’s Reception: Thursday, November 17th, 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Roslyn Cambridge’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and is included in
permanent collections in Europe, the West Indies, and North America. She is a Ford Foundation Grant recipient, and was awarded Excellence in Art Installation by the D. C. Art Content Specialist. Raised in Trinidad and Tobago, Cambridge resides in the D.C. area, where she is a highly regarded teacher. This exhibition reflects her outward focus, “The universality and beauty of God’s nature, the sparkle and joy of life persistently excites me. This consciousness inspires me to observe and create paintings reminiscent of my surroundings.”
