With an array of activities including swimming, basketball tournaments, rock climbing, step team as well as dance performances; over 800 teens occupied Allentown Splash, Tennis and Fitness Park Saturday June 14, 2014, to kick of Safe Summer at TEENFEST! 93.9 WKYS joined us to support the Give Drugs a Bad Rap Music Contest, allowing local talents between ages 13 and 22, the opportunity to create a video of themselves singing an original rap, song, or poem to the provided “Give Drugs a Bad Rap” 93-second music beat. Cheeseburgers, hotdogs and fruit salad filled the stomachs of our teens as they watched the different performances and participated in the activities, only to see Jasmin A.K.A. Fendii take home the grand prize of $1000!!!
