Get Active While Helping The Environment at the Jug Bay Run for Wildlife
Hey Teens and Preteens! Bring your friends, family and running shoes and sign up for the annual Jug Bay Run for Wildlife! Held on Saturday, November 2 beginning at 9 a.m., run, walk or cheer on others at Patuxent River Park for a good cause! The Patuxent River at its shores are home to many different types of wildlife and by participating in one of the fun activities of the day, you will be contributing to various conservation efforts to keep the area clean and enjoyable for all! Proceeds from the run and walk directly support projects, research and education in the Patuxent River watershed. Participate in a 10K or 5K race on flat trails with beautiful scenery! Or, do your part by signing up for the 3K fun walk which is led by a park naturalist!
Early registration fee is $18 for all 10K runners, $16 for all 5K runners, and $14 for all 3K walkers. Please do not mail entry forms after October 26. Race day registration is $22 for 10K runners, $20 for 5K runners, and $17 for 3K walkers and will be available on November 2 starting at 7:30 am. You can register online here:
