CONTENT MANAGEMENT Course Frequency: Initial Assignment This course, offered by the M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County, Public Affairs and Marketing Division, focuses on skills required to effectively post information and update web pages within our content management system. Staff assigned to web pages within pgparks.com and/or one of the companion sites will learn how the workflow operates and the tools and techniques to update web content and maintain updated web pages. Topics include how to edit copy to match our styling guide, adding, updating, and deleting content, linking to internal and external sources, image selection and requests, calendar events and more. Successful completion of this training session is required to become a part of the workflow and work on the site.
