Open During Construction!
After two years of planning, we’ve broken ground on the Phase II renovation project at Dinosaur Park. Over the next few months, we will be transforming the Park entrance and interpretive garden by adding a plethora of new visitor amenities. Expect to see a seating area for public programs, a restroom building, and a fossil-themed play structure appear in the near future. The renovation will also include an array of new interpretive displays. We designed the new signage with the most frequent visitor questions in mind. We hope that this overhauled presentation will better address how the fossils found at Dinosaur Park fit into our larger understanding of the history of life on Earth.

Although Dinosaur Park will be an active construction zone for some time, we have no plans to stop running our regularly scheduled programs! Open Houses will still occur on the first and third Saturday of each month, and group tours can be scheduled as normal. It may be necessary to use the fossil quarry’s east gate during certain phases of the construction project, so look for signs directing you to the proper entrance.

As always, an Astrodon-sized thank you goes to everyone who has visited Dinosaur Park since 2009. We wouldn’t be here without your continued interest and support. Here’s to the next seven years!
