Art Lives Here Announces…Design/Build Challenge!

Attention metal fabricators, woodworkers, tradespeople and upcyclers! Art Lives Here and Community Forklift are issuing TWO design/build challenges this month. One is an Art Lives Here metal sign and the other is a counter top for the incubator gallery. Contestants are strongly encouraged to visit Community Forklift to scope out materials for the design.

Winners will receive a $500 contract and a $250 materials credit at Community Forklift to build and install the project by September 25, 2015. Top five runners-up in each challenge will receive $25 credit at Community Forklift and their design displayed in the Art Lives Here incubator gallery.

Anyone who works, lives and/or plays in the Gateway Arts District is eligible to submit a design entry. Deadline to submit is August 28, 2015 at 5pm. Winners and runners-up will be announced September 4, 2015. Projects must be installed by September 25, 2015.
