Bowie Center for the Performing Arts Residency Program

BCPA announces the creation of a residency program as part of its mission as an “instructional and civic facility for the Performing Arts.” The center will award residencies to two groups that target underserved audiences in the Bowie area. Under the terms of these residencies, the Center will partially underwrite two one-week stands in the Center’s Recital Hall per company, including load in, rehearsals, three or four performances, strike, and load out. Some staffing is included as well.

2015-16 performance blocks are:

Company A, Production 1, Aug. 24-30, 2015, Production 2, Jan. 11-17, 2016

Company B, Production 1, October 19-25, 2015, Production 2, April 11-17, 2016

Application materials are available on the Center web site and must be submitted not later than Friday, 7/17/2015 by 5 pm.
