The Prince George's Book Festival: A Celebration of Written Word

Saturday, May 23 from 10 am - 4 pm, reading will come alive at the Prince George’s County Sports and Learning Center - 8001 Sheriff Road in Landover, MD - where more than 50 authors and other literary professionals will converge.

This free and open to the public Festival, which will celebrate the written word and feature activities for all age groups, is supported by the Prince Georges Arts & Humanities Council, the Prince George’s Community College, the Prince George’s Library System, Virgo Girl Media, Forever Free Books, Tutu Story Books, Barnes & Noble and many others.

County Executive Rushern Baker will arrive at noon to greet the crowd and read in the Children’s Corner, where three youths who are published authors, will be featured.

Don’t miss this great opportunity to meet and greet best selling authors, mingle with other readers, sit in on exciting panel discussions, and purchase great books from the authors, Barnes & Noble Book Store and Tutu Story Books. Please share this release with other avid readers.
