Congratulations, Masterpiece Movement! 2015 PG Best Dance Crew Champions!

On Friday, April 17th at the Publick Playhouse, teens from all over Prince George's County convened to battle it out for the "crown". Participating crews included Masterpiece Movement, Washington Chinese Dance Academy (Runner Up), Playful Ambition (3rd Place), Cultural Intensity, Mob Squad, O.T. Dancers, Diamond Dancers, and Dance Society. Dancers between the ages of 10-18 competed for the Dance Crews will be competing for 1st ($500), 2nd ($300), and 3rd ($200) place prizes. Diallo Boubacar won $300 in the freestyle (singles) contest. Crews were judged using a point system which included: routine execution, choreography, precision, costume/appearance, and stage presence. Each crew was given 5 minutes to leave it all on the dance floor. It was truly an evening of excitement!
