Based on the books by P.L. Travers and the Oscar-winning 1964 film, this authorized Disney musical production was adapted for West End and Broadway by Julian Fellowes, the creator of “Downton Abbey’, and won the Olivier award in 2005. The original Broadway production ran for over 2,500 performances and received nominations for nine Olivier and seven 2007 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Dancing chimney sweeps, flying kites, spoonfuls of sugar, and classic Disney songs you know and love! Directed by Fred Nelson Produced by Eugene Valendo Music Direction by Sandy Griese Choreography by Andrew Gordon 2nd Star Productions will be presenting the musical at the Bowie Playhouse at Whitemarsh Park from June 2 – July 1, 2017.
