RHODE ISLAND AVENUE MAIN STREET’S PORCH FEST 2017 is taking place April 15, 2017 from 2-6pm along Rhode Island Avenue NE Washington, DC. Eight porches - a mix of residential and commercial properties - will become stages for an afternoon of FREE mini concerts and art, that bring together neighbors, business owners, and artists in a casual and fun display of creative expression! FREE Zipcar Shuttle vans will also be available for attendees - hop on, hop off, enjoy it all.

Performers range from some of last year’s favorites such as The PanTones Steel Pan Band and The Foggy Bottom Whomp-Stompers, to newcomers of the Festival including Leftist, as well as teen band Go To 11. Last year’s event brought a record-number of attendees from all across the DMV; this is a great opportunity to get out and experience Ward 5 and all that it has to offer.
Porches include neighborhood homes as well as businesses such as Zeke’s Coffee and The Public Option. Porch Fest is made possible with the support of the Department of Small and Local Business Development, Zipcar, The Menkiti Group, Zeke's Coffee, Cultural Tourism DC, and The Public Option.
This event is FREE, open to the public, and for all ages. This is a RAIN or SHINE event.
