2nd Star is excited to present the area premiere of this 2012 Tony-winning play. Peter and the Starcatcher is a wildly imaginative adaptation of Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson’s best-selling series, telling how a miserable orphan comes to be The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up (a.k.a. Peter Pan). From marauding pirates and jungle tyrants to unwilling comrades and unlikely heroes, Peter and the Starcatcher playfully explores the depths of greed and despair and the bonds of friendship, duty, and love.
2nd Star Productions will be presenting the play at the Bowie Playhouse at Whitemarsh Park from February 10-25, 2016. Performances will be as follows: Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 3 pm, with the closing performance Saturday February 25th at 3 pm. For more information on the show or the theater company, please visit their website at
