World Dance Showcase Seeks Auditions

Performers of traditional, culture-specific dance styles, aged 16 years and older are invited to audition for the 14th Annual World Dance Showcase. Six dance groups will be selected to perform in concert on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 8 pm, and will receive an honorarium of $600. Employees of The M-NCPPC or their families are not eligible to receive honoraria.

AUDITION CRITERIA
Any traditional work not exceeding 15 minutes in length, in any culture-specific dance style.

Work must be auditioned in finished form with costumes.
General stage lighting, microphones and CD player. Music may be live or pre-recorded.

CONCERT DATE
Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 8 pm at the Publick Playhouse.

Selected artists are asked to be available for technical rehearsal on March 24, 2017, 7-10 pm.
