The Brentwood Arts Exchange
All-Screened Video Fest
is an open-call feature of short film and video work by regional filmmakers. Presented to the public in a social and appreciative atmosphere, the one-day festival is a showcase of known and unknown talent alike. One artist/filmmaker will be awarded Best in Festival with a $300 prize.
All submissions must be at the gallery by 5:00 pm January 20, 2016.
The Brentwood Arts Exchange All-Screened Video Fest will start at 1:00pm Saturday, February 6, 2016 and will continue until finished.
This call is open to all artists and filmmakers 18 years of age or older who live within 250 miles of Brentwood, MD. Submissions are limited to one video per artist/filmmaker. Videos must be no longer than 10 minutes in length. Submissions must be in DVD format. DVDs should open to an easily navigable menu. Segments of longer works should be on discs containing only the segment to be shown. Please write your full name and the title of your video on the outside of your disc.

All video submissions will be screened by a panel of film and video professionals from the community. The judges panel will vote to select one video as “best in show,” awarding the title
with a $300 prize.

JANUARY 20, 2016
By submitting work to be presented at the Brentwood Arts Exchange All-Screened Video Fest, you agree to allow the Brentwood Arts Exchange to show your work to the public on the day of the event with no compensation. You also agree to have your name included in publicity for the event.
We will accept and present all submissions that meet the outlined criteria for format and length and that also are suitable for a publicly-funded venue. We reserve the right to refuse to present any submissions with content considered unsuitable for reasons including but not limited to: hate speech, religious or political advocacy, promoting illegal behavior, or graphic violence.
The Brentwood Arts Exchange is The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission’s component of the Gateway Arts Center, a public-private partnership that serves as an anchor for the Prince George’s County Gateway Arts District. Dedicated to presenting and promoting the visual arts, the Brentwood Arts Exchange features a contemporary art gallery featuring mid-career and emerging regional artists, a Craft Store promoting local artisans, and arts classes for youth and adults. It is a place for people of all ages to meet, engage and learn about art, and purchase locally made art.
If you wish to have your media returned after the screening, please enclose a self-addressed
stamped envelope (SASE) with sufficient postage. Media sent without SASE will be not be
returned.
