PORCH FEST | Saturday, September 26 | 2-6pm
Through the years, Rhode Island Avenue NE has been home to a variety of live music venues, including what was once Mr. Y’s Jazz Club at 16th & Rhode Island Ave NE.
On Saturday, September 26, 2015, from 2 to 6 pm, the front stoops and porches of several Rhode Island Avenue NE residents and businesses will be transformed into performance spaces where local musicians will play for the community for FREE!
This day of music will be the kick off of their Fall Fest week, with a shuttle bus courtesy of Rhode Island Row traveling between porches.
FALL FEST | Saturday, October 3 | 10am-4pm
For the last 4 years, the Rhode Island Avenue Fall Fest has showcased the beautiful, tree-lined commercial district in one of the hottest real estate markets in DC, and has attracted hundreds of visitors for a day full of shopping, food, and entertainment for the whole family. Fall Fest 2015 promises to be bigger and better – more music, more art, more food, and more fun!
