Christian Gibbs: "Orlando"
1.What's you're background?
I was born in the Caribbean, raised in NYC and the DMV. I love bringing words to life through performance. My grandfather was my personal griot; his joy in storytelling inspires me.
2. What’s your favorite thing about performing in front of a live audience?
One of my favorite things is the sharing of energy between the audience and actor. The connection to a live audience is very different than to a camera, or no audience at all.
3. What has been the most surprising or delightful thing about creating this production of As You Like It?
Entering every rehearsal witnessing the warmth and pure joy of each of my playmates, as we discover and create our As You Like It has been quite delightful.
As You Like It is touring County parks July 11-23. Click
