Musical Theatre Instructors Needed

The Prince George's Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking qualified teaching artists for a new musical theatre program for ages 8 – 17. Teaching artists should be dancers/choreographers, actors/directors, or musical directors. A bachelor’s degree in one of these disciplines, OR 5 years of equivalent experience in professional performance and/or education is required. Successful individuals must be innovative, creative, and self-motivated. Instructors will teach students the fundamentals of musical theater (voice, acting, dance) as well as choreograph and direct a performance at the end of each session. Fall classes will run from September 10, - November 20, 2016 on Saturday and Sundays. Instructors must be available for the Open House on August 18th and the performance dates, November 19th and 20th.
